The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for coordinating the patient’s and family’s care. Administers and provides nursing care according to the plan of care to terminally ill patients admitted to the VITAS program, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state where the VITAS program is located. Teaches families and other primary care persons appropriate care techniques. Provides accurate documentation with visit itineraries. Provides direct skilled bedside nursing care
